My friends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel over Easter Day. We were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort, and the friendly reception we received. The location is superb, with easy access to the city center and public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city on foot or by public transport. The hotel's proximity to Oxford Street, Kings Cross, and the CBD allowed us to easily visit various attractions. The hotel itself has a cozy, intimate atmosphere, and the downstairs bar offers a great selection of drinks. it was a delightful and enjoyable stay.

Location: the hotel was just next door to the restaurant downstairs and the tourist spots in central Sydney. Dined at Red Lantern on Riley, it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue.

The location was absolutely amazing, within walking distance to everything you could possibly want! The prices were surprisingly affordable considering the prime location. The food in the dining room was top-notch, more like a bistro than pub food. The Sunday night dinner with friends was a delight, with mouthwatering roast pork and generous vegetarian options. The bar downstairs had a welcoming atmosphere and a diverse crowd. The beds were super comfy and the staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating our early check-in and late check-out. Plus, the hotel was conveniently close to the CBD, making it easy to explore the city.

Charming rooms with old world decor, clean and tidy. Helpful staff, good tea and coffee facilities. Walking distance to Town Hall and Kings Cross train station. Pleasant vegan options on the menu. Great vibe and live jazz band on Sundays.

The hotel had a great location, close to museums, parks, and restaurants, making it convenient to explore the area. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated with antique furnishings, adding a charming touch. the self-service tea and coffee bar in the hallway was a nice amenity, allowing guests to enjoy a hot beverage at their convenience.
The lack of air conditioning in the room. Despite having a fan, it was quite noisy during the night and didn't provide sufficient cooling in the hot climate.

The rooms were cozy and well equipped, offering everything I needed for my business trip. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. the hotel's location was ideal, with key attractions within walking distance and convenient access to public transportation.
The presence of smokers standing near my window was a downside, as the smell would permeate into the room even with the windows closed. This was a bit bothersome, especially for someone who is sensitive to cigarette smoke.

Nothing, all excellent.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, within walking distance to great restaurants and interesting areas to explore. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were clean and well-furnished, staying true to the character of the hotel.
There was a bit of noise in the evenings, especially on weekends, due to the bar downstairs. However, considering the hotel's character and the great value for money, this was quite bearable.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to my appointment venue and other attractions in the city. Despite being above a pub, the rooms were cozy and well-equipped, providing a comfortable night's sleep. I had a great experience at East Hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.
